-- Encounter christ --

Worship is an essential practice for Christians. When we acknowledge who God is, our very first action should be one of adoration and praise. On Sunday mornings, we gather together in person and online to worship the one who created the world and who loves and forgives each of us. We sing songs to God and pray together as a Christian community. We believe that every week the most important thing we do is to worship God.  Everything we do during the week is shaped, informed and animated by our Sunday services. All are welcome!

Our traditional worship services include a written and responsive call to worship, hymns, The Lord's Prayer and music from one of our many choirs.  We have an amazing pipe organ that accompanies our services.  Our pastors preach a message that helps us apply the truth of scripture  in order that we might become more faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

We have two services.  Our 8:30 AM service has communion weekly.  Our 11:00 AM service features communion the first Sunday of the month.  The United Methodist Church believes in an Open Table for communion and all who intend to live a Christian life are invited to take communion.

Nursery care is available at both services for children 4 and under.  At the 11:00 service, children ages 4 through 5th grade are dismissed from the sanctuary to participate in Children's Worship.

YOUTUBE LIVE STREAM

This week, as we journey from the Christmas season to Lent, we begin an Epiphany series called "Glory Revealed."

Here is what Pastor Zach has to say about this upcoming series:

"This series focuses on the idea of the light of God being revealed to this world. Throughout the season of Epiphany (which will lead us to Lent), we will look at various aspects of God that are revealed to us and we are invited 'to embrace the gift of light that is Jesus the Christ, and to do an attitude check as we stand in the promise of glory revealed.' So, I encourage you to prepare yourself to receive the light of Jesus Christ in new ways over the next few weeks as we experience the glory of God together."

This week, we conclude the series with "Glory Revealed."

We are so glad to have you worshipping with us this weekend. Everyone is welcome here!
