United Methodist Men
The intent of the United Methodist Men is to be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to seek daily his will. Its primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relationships.
Membership is open to all men in Christ United Methodist Church who are eighteen years or older. Men's ministry at Christ Church consists of a core local chapter of the national General Commission of United Methodist Men and several subordinate small groups, which meet at various times during the week, month and year. The Christ Church chapter of the UMM has an active events schedule, including social as well as service-oriented activities, throughout the entire year. Some of our annual events include Breakfast with Santa to benefit local disadvantaged children, trips to regional sporting events, a potluck & theater night, the James B. Hayes Memorial golf outing, and various organizational meetings. Some of the various small
groups include a senior's breakfast club, a young men's devotional group, as well as others. We publish an events calendar which is both displayed in the Narthex (left of the information desk) and integrated into the main events calendar on this website.
